The Brussels Airport (BRU) is located a short distance from the Brussels city center and offers direct flights to and from locations around the world.

See the airport website for ground transportation between the airport and the Brussels city center.

The easiest way to travel is by train. The airport train station is located below the terminal (basement level, -1). There are four trains every hour; the trip takes about 12 minutes to the north station or 17 minutes to the central station and costs EUR 7.80 for a second class ticket.

Board one of the following trains, and disembark at either the north station (Brussels-north, Bruxelles-nord, Brussel-noord) or the central station (Brussels-central, Bruxelles-central, Brussel-centraal):

Time Direction
** : 09 Gand Saint-Pierre (Gent sint Pieters)
** : 27 Brussels-Midi (Bruxelles-Midi, Brussel-Zuid)
** : 36 Quévy
** : 51 La Panne  (De Panne)

Use the STIB travel planner to plan a route from the train station to your hotel or ISIB.

Taxis with a taximeter are permanently available in front of the airport arrivals hall. The fare from the airport to the city center is about EUR 45. Licensed taxis can be recognized by the blue and yellow emblem. Travellers are advised to avoid unlicensed taxis! (Wheelchair users can order a taxi from Taxi Hendriks)
